One horse at a time, and one after another.

Liza Balistreri Cahill, Secretary of HWH, like the rest of the HWH team, has been a horse lover since she was a child.  During the first phase of her “horse life” growing up, trips to the stable for a riding lesson quickly turned into full-day adventures. Liza worked for the Milwaukee Polo Club exercising polo ponies and grooming during matches. She also ran a schooling program for young riders and volunteered for therapeutic riding centers. There were also camps, shows, leasing and getting involved in any opportunities she could to be around horses.

After a hiatus to get her law degree, start a family and dive into residential real estate, Liza has returned to her equestrian roots. Back in the saddle – literally – and with a desire to advocate on behalf of discarded and at-risk horses, she has enthusiastically connected with HWH.
